Roma Pass 72 Hours, which is sponsored by Rome City Council and the Ministry for the Arts and Cultural Activities, in collaboration with ATAC, the public transport company, is the capital’s special tourist-cultural card that allows tourists to access a variety of discounts and services that make it easier and cheaper to enjoy the beauty of Rome.

Reduced ticket to all other museums and / or archaeological sites and / or experience visited thereafter. The concessionary ticket includes the exhibition held in the museum.
Valid 72 hours from the first validation for access to museums, archaeological sites, experience and local public transport.
Free use of the city’s public transport network for 72h from the first validation on the means of transport. It is valid on all means of local public transport operated by ATAC (bus, metro A, B, B1 and C and railway lines Roma-Lido, Roma Flaminio Piazza del Popolo-Viterbo, Roma-Giardinetti), within the territory of the Municipality of Rome. ATAC Bus line 720 to connect Ciampino Airport to Laurentina Station Metro B and the ATAC Bus line 520 to connect Ciampino Airport from/to the Metro A stations of Subaugusta (bus terminal at the square in front of the Metro stop) and Cinecittà. Must be completed in its entirety and is not transferable. The card must be presented at the request of control staff, together with a valid ID. All special connections tpl Atac, the railway lines Trenitalia FL, the connection Tiburtina/Termini/Fiumicino Airport, the connection Trenitalia “No stop” Roma Termini-Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo Express) and all connections to and from Fiumicino Airport are not included.

How to use it:
Once collected, the overleaf form must be filled with name, surname and validation date;
the Card is valid for 72 hours from the first entry to a museum/sites/experience and/or from the first journey on public transport;
the Card must be activated at the first journey on public transport even if it has been already activated at the first entrance to a museum
from the 3rd site onwards the reduction is recognized directly by presenting the card at the ticket office;
it must be shown with your ID card when required by a ticket inspector;
it is a contactless card, which means no need to insert it in the reader, just touch your card against the reader;
In case of malfunction of the card, you should go to one of the Infopoints for card control and possible replacement.

For info on concessions and free admission in the Museums and Archaeological Sites managed by the State and the City of Rome, please refer to the laws regulating the admission in cultural sites.

At the national museums and archaeological sites (Coliseum included) on the first Sunday of month, the admission is free for all (unless the Ministerial dispositions vary, please check https://www.beniculturali.it/agevolazioni), in the absence of an exhibition of a separate and distinct business including the spaces in which they are held exhibitions.

Most museums generally are closed on Mondays, with the exception of: Colosseo (booking required), Mercati di Traiano, Musei Capitolini, Museo dell’Ara Pacis. Almost all the museums normally are closed on December 25, January 1 and May 1 too. We advise you to check in advance the opening hours and days on the official web sites.

The following museums are admission free, without card too: Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, Museo Carlo Bilotti a Villa Borghese, Museo della Repubblica Romana e della memoria garibaldina, Museo delle Mura, Museo di Casal de’ Pazzi, Museo di Scultura Antica Giovanni Barracco, Museo Napoleonico, Museo Pietro Canonica a Villa Borghese, Villa di Massenzio.
